Academic writing – your own and your students’
Do you want inspiration on how to teach your students to write better academic texts?
In this webinar, we will focus on how to use your experiences of writing academic articles as a starting point to support your students’ academic writing.
You will gain insights into how the decoding method can be used to examine your writing by identifying the small but important steps in your writing process. You will also get ideas on how to translate these steps into strategies for supervising student writing.

Value creation in a teaching context – how creating value for others might enhance students’ learning
During the webinar we will discuss how engaging in value creation activities can enhance students’ learning and at the same time enhance their ability to create value for both themselves and stakeholders outside the university.
We hope to inspire you to see the potential of integrating value creation into the curriculum — especially in the context of project-based teaching where students tackle real-world issues and engage with society beyond the university. We will also address the benefits and challenges that may come with this approach.
Using practical examples from different disciplines, we will show how other teachers have integrated value creation into their teaching and share the insights they have gained.

Generative AI in the feedback process – implications of introducing adaptable and scalable GAI feedback
As generative AI (GAI) becomes more advanced and more common, both students and teachers are using it more frequently to strengthen their academic abilities and learning processes.
Studies show that GAI can provide serviceable written feedback on students’ work. However, the implications of integrating GAI into feedback processes are still underexplored.
During the webinar, we will present research on the topic and share preliminary findings from current research projects on hybrid feedback processes where GAI has been used to provide feedback to students. We will also address user experiences and the effects of the different ways the technology has been applied.
