THE CATEGORY FOR SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL TASKS

TEACHING

The educator/member of academic staff:

- can, under supervision, plan and carry out teaching and supervision activities focusing on students’ learning

The member of academic staff:

- masters the subject’s central teaching and supervision practices, and can independently organise and carry out teaching, supervision, and lesson plans taking into account both the academic objectives and the students’ learning prerequisites

The member of academic staff:

- maters a broad spectrum of teaching and supervision practices

- can develop, rethink, and test teaching and supervision practices

The member of academic staff:

- can analyse, organise, carry out, evaluate, improve, and develop new lesson plans, degree programme elements, or whole study programmes

- can take part in and assume responsibility for educational development and innovation

EXAMS

- can, under supervision, plan and carry out exams in accordance with the academic objectives

- can independently plan, carry out, and evaluate exams in accordance with the academic objectives

- masters different types of exams and can assess whether the selected type of examination is suitable

- can develop and rethink forms of examination

- can develop new and innovative forms of examination

- can assume responsibility for that new types of examinations are propagated at the institution

QUALITY ASSURANCE

- can, under supervision, contribute to the teaching assessment of their teaching and supervision and discussions about the importance of the assessment for the development of teaching and supervision

- can systematically work on developing their teaching and supervision on the basis of teaching evaluations

- can develop and test new formats for evaluation of their teaching and supervision

- can contribute innovatively and systematically to the development of the quality of teaching in order to improve the institution’s teaching, supervision, and educational practice
