The purpose of the course is to introduce you to the educational and practical possibilities in Microsoft 365 and Teams with the aim of strengthening collaboration, organisation, and learning in your teaching.
You will get practical insight into how the tools can be integrated into your learning design and activities.
Learning outcome
After the course, you can:
- Explain the central functions in Microsoft 365 and Teams in an educational context
- Organise material, activities, and communication in Teams
- Use OneDrive, OneNote, Loop, and other applications in collaboration with the students
- Distinguish between synchronous and asynchronous use of Teams and utilise the possibilities educationally
- Design educational activities that support active participation and teamwork via Teams and the associated tools
Content
During the course, we will address the following themes:
- How can Microsoft 365 and Teams be used in teaching?
Initially, we will focus on project work, study groups, and collaboration on productions - Building a Team: Channels, tabs, and roles
- Communication in a Team: Chat, posts, meetings, and notifications
- Integration between the tools and Brightspace.
During the course, there will be time for hands-on exercises and questions.
At the end, we will introduce various online resources and the possibility for educational/technical support in connection with the creation and use of Teams and Microsoft 365.
